Trinity Youth Group (TYG)
TYG has been running since January 2011. It is open Mondays during term time from 6pm until 8pm for £1 per week.
TYG is for school years 6 and 7 (ages 10-12), and was set up primarily to help the young people bridge the 'socializing' gap between Junior and Senior school. TYG is manned by a team of volunteers (all covered by current CRB/DBS checks) under the leadership of a qualified Youth Worker. There is a range of activities including pool, table tennis, table football, X-Box games regularly on offer, with a program of weekly activities which include craft and baking.
There is also a tuck shop with lots of choice of snacks and drinks.
At TYG, ALL young people in years 6 and 7 are welcome. TYG offers a safe and friendly environment for the young people to come and be themselves, whilst also providing them with a listening ear, support and encouragement from the caring leadership team.
