Flower Team
We are a group of people who keep the church building, including the coffee bar, decorated throughout the year with appropriately seasonal flowers.
For each Sunday fresh flowers, donated by members or friends, are arranged in the church and later divided into bunches and given or taken to two or three people who would benefit from such a gift.
In the week leading up to Easter we recruit extra helpers to enable us to produce baskets of spring flowers to be given to our senior members and friends, as well as anyone ill or housebound.
We also need help before our harvest celebrations when we again produce flower arrangements to hand out and also create a display of harvest produce supplied by green-fingered contacts.
At Christmas individual plants, again donated, are distributed.
We are delighted to be able to use our talents in this way.
