Visitor Information

Who are we?

Trinity Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you, be assured that you will receive a very warm welcome at Trinity.

When should I arrive?

Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10.30am. If you are driving then please use the public car park adjacent to our building, which is £1.10 on a Sunday. For directions to reach us please click here. You'll be greeted in the foyer and given information about the church and notices of forthcoming events.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not.

What should I expect?

For many people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Trinity. Remember that we all had a 'first day' at church - you'll find we are friendly people! If you don't understand something please simply ask.

We start our worship at 10.30 am with a few notices keeping us informed of diary dates etc. followed by our call to worship. Our worship time consists of a mixture of traditional and modern hymns and songs, Bible readings, and sometimes images, video clips or activities to accompany a talk by the worship leader. During the service, at around 11.00 am, our children and young people leave to join their own groups, and a crèche is available for our youngest children. Older children (from age 8) are invited to join the Sunday Club which meets in the hall downstairs for the entire service time.

Tea and coffee are available after the service, with a chance to talk to other church members or visitors. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you should be encouraged and inspired by the morning. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God.

What do we believe?

We are a Christian church and believe that all can have a relationship with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God's only son) who invites us to follow him. We have friendly relationships with other local churches from both traditional and modern backgrounds. If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith then please come along on a Sunday or contact the Church Office or our Ministers for more information.
